“The Installer” -the new name of our business- is specialized in event and wedding furniture rental. This business started a few decades ago, when my late grandfather “Moustafa El Baba” decided to buy hundreds of old bamboo chairs to rent them to people for weddings, funerals, and ceremonies that took place in that time. This great decision - as my grandpa used to name it - was taken upon the request of many people who wanted to use the chairs that furnished his father’s small coffee shop which has been located in old Sidon behind Al Omari Mosque in Daher Al Mir yard since 1912. Grandpa’s business started in 1952 with the well-known name of “El Baba Chairs”, providing people from all over Lebanon with chairs & tables for their different events and weddings.
